Mike Thompson created the Linus Secure Information Security Management System based on his experience of over 23 years in Information Security Management to meet the needs of Linus’s clients.

While focusing on improving the Linus Secure methodology and software, he also maintains an interest in IS developments in the corporate world by continuing to provide Information Security Consulting Services through Linus Information Security Solutions Pty Ltd.

Mike is an accredited expert in ISM and BCM with the ability to combine the latest theories and approaches with over 23 years of experience to provide thorough, practical and insightful guidance.

Mike's wide-ranging experience and hands-on approach is probably best exemplified by his successful tracking and apprehension of a computer fraud case, the testing of Business Continuity Plans during a building fire and the design and development of the industry-leading Linus Revive and Linus Secure software.

Mike has helped numerous government and commercial organisations with their information systems and business processes, including key advisory roles with the Victorian Privacy Commission and Victorian Law Reform Commission.
